I have not read Maureen Dowd since she gave us George Bush and the Iraq War

She relentlessly pursued Al Gore over trivial issues, costing him hundreds and hundreds of votes in Florida. She gave us 8 years of George Bush. She may have given us 9/11 by getting an inattentive President off in Texas in August 2001. I have not read a word of one of her columns since 2000. But I see she is apparently up to no good, still.

Tuesday morning, Politico published a morning-winning, news-making scoop about Biden’s slow process of deciding whether or not to run for president. The Biden trial balloon was launched with a Maureen Dowd column in The New York Times on August 1 that mentioned that the vice president’s dying son Beau had urged him to run for president. Where did that moving detail come from?
