Kim Davis: This is not about same-sex marriage: this is about tyrannical control of marriage

Someone said to me today that I had not been talking about gay marriage in relation to Kim Davis. No. I have been looking at so many marriages in the colonial period that I saw Kim Davis from the first reports as merely one in a long line of people in power who used that power to tyrannize over others. Control of marriage is a powerful weapon for any despot. This is not about Christianity. It's about Political Power over citizens.
