70 Years Ago--Reading Newspaper on the Snake River--Cousin Paul W. Tibbets

I don't know if Paul W. Tibbets was named in the newspaper. I did not know until a couple of years ago that the W. was for Warfield, and Tibbets is a cousin. There's an ugly headline now about Hiroshima opening the door to mass destruction. The headline writer forgot about the Holocaust. Forget Pearl Harbor, even, and think of the Holocaust. I am slowly watching an astonishingly good documentary called AUSCHWITZ: INSIDE THE NAZI STATE. Sometimes you need to know the separate stages by which evil grows.
