Butternut squash soup and skillet cheese bread for lunch

Yesterday someone baked a big butternut squash and made other preparations and this morning I made cheese bread. I finished packing Box 56 and went to the beach, pushed along by the wind going south then exhilaratingly buffeted on my way back. (Norman Mailer could not spell exhilarate either. Just now I checked.) When I got out of the car, home, a voice called down from the dining room balcony. Soup was boiling, and off the stove.
Visualize this bread with the color compatible butternut squash served in blue and white scenic Victorian transferware with slices of golden cheese bread to the side. Every moment of pleasure we have, we deserve, and are grateful for.
