Finally, I dared to cook a pound of pinto beans. The recipes had seemed so very intimidating!

So for Wednesday you start on Tuesday. And you follow Ronald Johnson and not Fannie Farmer and certainly not Julia, who wants an oven on all night. But you hover, and hover. And wait and you check and you wait and then add. And the result is wonderful. I could not capture the bubbling with this picture.
