We were fourth cousins on the Tindall side and in 1948 we wrote a whole novel together, YONDER THE WHIRLWIND, my first collaboration. I called her on her 83rd birthday. She was fading, but her voice was good. I have been thinking about her every day because 20 years ago, on 1 June 1998, she drove down from Casper to meet us in Cheyenne on our drive West. Here are some pictures. This is hard. She was magnificent.

Lottie Cain Honea 1 April 1935 to 4 June 2018--83 years Old
