You hear this sort of violence to the language in TV but you hope not to see it in ATASCADERO NEWS's local paper, "Life Morro Bay." Beth Bolyard in "Inside the Morro Bay business walk" starts off: "Morro Bay has been a longtime local destination for my family and I since moving to Atascadero in 2006 . . . ."
She continues: "I now work with Morro Bay Life, the direct mail monthly you are currently so thoroughly enjoying . . . ."
Well, there is no enjoyment of such violation of grammar.
Act naturally, Beth, act naturally. Between you and I . . . .
