Brooding about Grandpa Costner

This is the grandparent I most resemble. I think of him as being very old in the picture outside his little house in Heavener in the late 40s, but now I am a deal older than he ever lived to be. I am struck by the thought that most or all of the Mississippi cousins never had and never knew a Grandpa Costner, and there are probably very few of us left who did have one and do remember him. Kevin and others actually had a Grandpa Costner, but not most or any of the living Mississippi cousins.
