Well, I would rather be 2nd cousin to Kevin Costner's father! I thought the 1978 shipwreck was George C. Scott's only connection with Morro Bay. I can never feel close to the man who slugged Ava Gardner, but now I know where the admirable Campbell Scott got his first name--from his Slemp uncles and cousins.
