This appeal lays out what looks like an unconscionable effort to harass one of the first bloggers to see that the Durham DA was falsely accusing Duke lacrosse players of rape and one of the first to see that Richard H. Brodhead, the President of Duke University, and other officials and employees of Duke were not doing their duty to protect their students.
What Duke is doing now, as well as delaying Brodhead's trials on the charges of "obstruction of justice" and "constructive fraud," is attempting to put an honest reporter into severe financial straits as well as to force him to reveal confidential information.
