Catherine Stutts Richardson

Aunt Kate was the only woman of the troop of 150 who rode horseback all the way from Moore Co., central North Carolina, to Lauderdale Co. Alabama, around 1820 and who lived to kill a Yankee with a stick of firewood while he was raiding her apple barrel. She goes in ORNERY PEOPLE.
