"That truth should be silent I had almost forgot"--Enobarbus in ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA, back in Rome after having been too long in Egypt.---------
Melville's PIERRE, Book 4, chapter 5: "Something ever comes of all persistent inquiry; we are not so continually curious for nothing."
This is out of context: just to let you know that small things you did made a huge difference: I framed a sheet of WFaulkner stamps just as you had sheets of Melville and Hawthorne. After New Orleans got demolished, Tom Bonner's home did, too. Betsy Muenger led an effort to help restore Tom's lost library. I sent books, and a framed sheet of WF stamps. Betsy just told me that frame is happily displayed in Tom's new home; apparently he still teaches part time.
Point being: I saw something you did, copied it. Sorry to say I never got a hold of a sheet of Melville stamps. Or Hawthorne. But, the ideastuck and helped with New Orleans mess. Also, I went deep into stained glass. Don't know what Google will do , so I'll just sign off as Petra Gallert

In fact, I have the Melville framed, and the green Faulkner, but never the Hawthorne. I also have (explain this) the red TSE, framed.
