The anti-fungal drug I have been taking has left the good eye functional but badly scarred and vulnerable. The fungus knows the pathway to the eye, and lurks. Problem is, the drug is not without unpleasant effects. I am blaming it, not extreme age, for my being a little befuddled into trying to recreate my mother's biscuits using baking powder. I have to try a soda biscuit recipe next. Anything to avoid thinking about Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz and their attacks on democracy.
