When you point out shoddiness in the academia you get quoted in places you never heard of. Well, it's time that English Departments looked in a mirror.
I know that the New Historicists in English Departments shunned archival research. What has happened in History Departments in the last 30 years? Have History Departments continued to reward archival research?
