Hershel Parker and Lottie Cain 1998, plotting the sequel to the 1948 YONDER THE WHIRLWIND
Good collaborators are hard to find.
As we were making our retirement journey to California in 1998 Lottie drove down from Casper to meet us in Cheyenne at Little America, where this picture was taken. A storm had wiped out all the computers in all the banks in Delaware (so we were told every day) and the money from the sale of our house was still not in our California bank account.
