Caretaker made this for my 75th birthday. She happens to be reading FABRIC now.

 Some of the squares are from a suit of hers which we remember from USC. Some are from a pair of pants I bought in Delaware. More are from jackets we bought for $5 each at good will (and dry cleaned).

Each piece is from a Harris Tweed garment, hand woven, guaranteed to be from Scottish sheep. The immigrant father of a Revolutionary hero of mine was a weaver, in North Carolina.
