Will this apply to the Choctaw Nation?
WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled by a 5-4 margin that much of eastern Oklahoma “remains ‘Indian Country,’ ” preventing state authorities from prosecuting offenses there that involve Native Americans.
